Bring Mindfulness to Life Workshop

In many practices around the world, mindfulness techniques are proving effective both in managing stress reduction and as a basis for therapy with a wide range of mental health and addictions clients. Although many see them as synonymous, mindfulness is a significant part of meditation, but it is not meditation itself. This weekend workshop includes presentations, demonstrations and experiential opportunities on mindfulness and its twin guided imagery.
Join us in a safe and respectful environment and learn how to be productive and calm, experience stillness to lower and prevent stress, and create strategies to keep your new practices alive. Our intention is to gently expand your centre of calm and offer you nourishment for the brain, the body and the heart so you can bring your best presence to the world and share it with your clients.
Facilitators:
Jacqueline Gautier, MA, RCC. Co-author “Treasure: Creative Adventures in Self-discovery.” Certified Integrated Health & Healing Practitioner in Expressive Arts and Guided Imagery, California Pacific Medical Centre. Counsellor at Jacqueline Gautier Counselling and NARSF Programs Ltd., Nanaimo, BC; 15 years experience.
Larry Birckhead, MA, author of the “Habit Shift & Bringing Mindfulness to Life” workshops, built upon a long-proven and easily learned framework for letting go of unwanted life patterns and making good habits stick; 12 years meditation experience.
